Waugh the Builder completed some work for us in the summer of 2016. Therefore when we needed a contractor for a bigger job we knew who we would use to do the work.

They contributed right from the initial stage working with our architect (Andrew Allan Architecture ) and our glass roof supplier (Gardiners Window Services).

The Team were thoughtful and careful - preserving and protecting the walls and floors to limit any damage.

Their work was precise and professional. The project was delivered and completed on time and at the price quoted at the outset.

We are absolutely delighted with their work and the finished result.

I approached Waugh the Builder after I decided not to use intended builder. Stephen Waugh gave me a quote and we agreed the contract. The work was started earlier than scheduled and completed on time. We had our new kitchen ready for Christmas.

During the build, we agreed any solution(s) as my build was special. The best part of getting Stephen Waugh to complete my build was that he managed to incorporate a large picture window in the Sun Room. Such feature was our number one priority and not in the plans as we were informed that it could not be achieved. Excellent work at all times.

Waugh the builder was one of three contractors who quoted for the conversion of my attic at the above address into 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Waugh the builder and another local contractor were very evenly matched for price and in the event it came down to which could start first and meet a tight programme for completion.
We had a prestart meeting to iron out any issues with regard to detail and also to order some additional works and Stephen took all of these on board and incorporated them into the works.
He started when he said he would, and brought along a superb team, both his own men and other trades. They all dovetailed together very well to ensure that the contract proceeded in an extremely timeous and professional fashion. I was most impressed and having spent my life in the construction industry I don’t impress easily.

I would describe Waugh the Builder as a “does what it says on the label” type of contractor. I have no hesitation in recommending Stephen to other prospective clients.

It was a pleasure to work with WTB. We had no problems whatsoever and nothing was too much trouble for them even when we asked for extras. They guys were always on time, polite and friendly and their work was excellent. We are very happy with our new kitchen and will definitely use them again if we get any more work done.
